Ultras Thailand has announced their comeback to the behind-the-goal cheer zone following the Sports Authority of Thailand and event organizers listening to their concerns.
On 4 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Ultras Thailand, a well-known Thai national team fan group, announced their return to cheering behind the goal after the Sports Authority of Thailand and event organizers addressed their concerns. Previously, they had declared they would not support the Thai national team at the 2025 SEA Games in both football and futsal due to disagreement with rules regarding spectator registration rights.
Recently, Ultras Thailand, which has over 80,000 followers on Facebook, issued a statement confirming that the behind-the-goal cheer zone "Zone S" will once again belong to Ultras Thailand. Football supporters will coordinate through the Football Association.
They thanked the governor of the Sports Authority and the organizing team for listening and working together to find a solution, and for honoring this small Thai national football supporter group. The behind-the-goal cheer zone will regain the vocal energy of the Ultras Thailand crowd. This arrangement will cover men's and women's futsal as well as the Thai women's national football team.
