Fed up, "Pat Klear," a famous singer, has come out with harsh criticism regarding the 2025 SEA Games budget controversy, raising doubts about whether some items are excessively overpriced.
On 4 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Pat Rannaphan Yangyuenpoonchai, the lead singer of the well-known band Klear, voiced a fierce opinion on the budget drama surrounding the 33rd SEA Games, a multi-sport event among Southeast Asian countries hosted by Thailand, suggesting some budget items might be inflated.
"Pat Klear" shared her thoughts via her Facebook Fan Page, Patklear, which has over 1.2 million followers, stating: "I am utterly fed up. There is no shame at all. Money smells sweet; it grants power and comfort. But hot money, gray money, money stolen from the country will burn you throughout your life and into your descendants’ generations. It will become the karma of your family. Beyond the people cursing you, your children and grandchildren will curse you too. You will grow old without happiness."
"In my life, I have rarely cursed anyone, but today I will do so fully. The first time was during COVID, the second at night with the Office of the Auditor General, the third during the recent floods, and now with the SEA Games. I wish those who steal taxpayers' money and cheat the country’s funds will never prosper, may they fall into ruin without ever receiving help."
