"Buakaw" has reacted after "Cambodia" opened fire on Thailand, causing military casualties.
On 8 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Buakaw Banchamek, the beloved Thai boxer, addressed the public via his official fan page Banchamek Gym (Buakaw Banchamek) following the latest clashes at the Thai-Cambodian border.
Earlier this morning at 06:48 GMT+7, the 2nd Army Region reported that Cambodia opened fire in the Chong An Ma area, prompting Thailand to return fire according to engagement rules.
At 08:05 GMT+7, the Royal Thai Army reported multiple border clashes between Thailand and Cambodia. Thai troops were attacked with supporting firearms in the Chong Bok area, resulting in one soldier killed and four wounded.
Buakaw Banchamek has now expressed his support for the Thai soldiers defending the country on the front lines against Cambodia's offensive, saying, "It has begun!! Wishing all soldiers safety."
Additionally, Buakaw shared information from the Royal Thai Army requesting cooperation during the Thai-Cambodian border incident, stating, "Strictly prohibit the dissemination of photos or information about military operations for national security."
