Pimpichaya Reveals Two Key Techniques from France to Help Thai Womens Volleyball Chase 2025 SEA Games Championship (Video)

Bringing back valuable skills, Pimpichaya reveals two key techniques from the French league to help Thailand's women's volleyball team chase the 2025 SEA Games championship (Video).

On 8 December 2025, Thailand's women's national volleyball team practiced for 1 hour and 30 minutes at Indoor Stadium Huamark, the actual venue for the 33rd SEA Games hosted by Thailand.

Coach Ott Kiattipong Ratchatkriengkrai organized players to practice game tactics in each lineup, preparing for the opening match where Thailand's women's volleyball team will face Singapore on Wednesday, 10 December.

Beam Pimpichaya Kokram, a standout outside hitter from Vandœuvre Nancy club in the French league, shared the latest readiness of Thailand's women's volleyball: "Right now, we are focusing on the team system. We just regrouped, so we need to adjust the timing of our hits."

"Because each player has been with different clubs and setters with different styles, we are mainly working on adjusting the timing and the team system. But I think everyone can match the rhythm of Poo (Pornpun) and Nik (Nattnicha) well since we've played together before and know each other very well. So, not much adjustment is needed."

"My physical condition is 100 percent ready. I have only minor injuries but nothing serious. I'm ready to fight at the SEA Games."

"(The two techniques I brought back from Vandœuvre Nancy in the French league) are mostly about hitting and blocking because the blocking there is very strong. I use my skills to do touch blocks or hit around the block as much as possible."

"Also, regarding blocking, since I'm the smallest player, I want to score as much as possible from blocking plays. So, I focus a lot on blocking."

"I would like to invite all Thai fans to come support the SEA Games here in our country. I don’t want everyone to just cheer for volleyball but also other sports. Please give us your support; we will do our best to win the SEA Games gold medal."

The goal for Thailand's women's volleyball team is to win their 17th SEA Games gold medal and defend their 15th consecutive SEA Games title.
