Can it be done? "BamBam" makes a single request to fans at the 2025 SEA Games opening ceremony, vowing to make Thailand proud.
On 9 December 2025, BamBam Kanpimuk Phuwakul, also known as BamBam from GOT7, the famous Thai K-pop artist, communicated via his personal X (Twitter) account to fans who will come to support him at the opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, which Thailand is hosting this evening.
BamBam Kanpimuk Phuwakul is one of Thailand’s leading artists who will perform on stage during the 2025 SEA Games opening ceremony. This had been announced in advance, allowing fans to prepare to cheer him on from the sidelines of Rajamangala National Stadium.
However, BamBam made a request to fans attending the 2025 SEA Games opening ceremony: "Everyone, it seems there will be phone lights turned on during my performance. May I ask you not to turn them on? I want to respect, and I hope everyone will respect, the event’s rules."
"No matter where you are seated, I will definitely feel your support! Thank you for wanting to encourage me in every way! See you tomorrow! I will make Thailand proud," BamBam said, adding at the end of the same post, "But feel free to scream at the top of your lungs."
The opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games will begin at 19:00 onwards.
