On 9 December 2025 GMT+7, live broadcast channels for the 33rd SEA Games opening ceremony are provided so Thai sports fans nationwide can cheer on the Thai athletes together.

The 2025 SEA Games will be grandly held with a total of 50 sports competing for 574 gold medals, plus 3 demonstration sports, scheduled from 3 to 20 December 2025 GMT+7.

For the “2025 SEA Games Opening Ceremony,” Thai sports fans can watch the live broadcast on Tuesday, 9 December, starting at 6:30 PM GMT+7 via main channels including PPTV HD 36, NBT, T SPORT 7, and TrueVision Now. The highlight is the opening ceremony from Rajamangala National Stadium, broadcast live for more than two continuous hours.

There will be a special performance by "BamBam" Kantphimuk (BamBam GOT7), a Thai K-Pop artist preparing a show especially for this event, along with many artists and celebrities such as Jeff Satur, Opal Suchata, BNK48, Gemini-Fourth, Meenoi, and the Kot Cool team.

A key highlight of the opening ceremony is the Thai athletes carrying the tricolor flag, led by male athlete “View” Kulwut Witasan, a world-class badminton player and 2024 Olympic silver medalist in France.

The female athlete carrying the flag is “Bee” Janjam Suwanpeng, a Thai national female boxer and 2024 Olympic bronze medalist in France, both highly respected figures in Thai sports.

The oath takers at the ceremony are “Biu” Phuripol Boonsorn, a Thai race walker, along with “Yoo” Ballangk Thapthimdaeng, the 68 kg taekwondo world champion, and “Thanya” Flight Sergeant Thanyaporn Pruksakon, a Thai national shooting athlete.

Another eagerly awaited highlight is the lighting of the torch by “Tennis” Panipak Wongpattanakit, a former favorite Thai female taekwondo athlete and two-time Olympic gold medal hero.
