Kao Jirayu, boyfriend of Violette, posted after his girlfriend encountered problems during her performance at the 2025 SEA Games opening ceremony.
Following the performance of artist Violette Wautier at the 2025 SEA Games opening ceremony on 9 Dec 2025 at Rajamangala National Stadium, some viewers noticed that the artist’s singing was incomplete during the live broadcast.
Later, Violette clarified that she had been briefed to lip-sync 100%, but during the actual show, live microphone audio was broadcast even though the vocals were not fed into her monitor, causing her to be unable to hear herself.
Recently, Kao Jirayu Laongmanee, lead singer of the band Retrospect and Violette’s boyfriend, who watched the performance, shared his thoughts on Facebook, stating:
“I’m speechless. I’m deeply disappointed with the management, beyond what words can describe, even though I didn’t have high expectations to begin with.”
