
Puripol Boonsorn won the men's 100m gold medal at the SEA Games 2025.
On 11 December 2025, the men's 100m final at the SEA Games 2025 took place at Suphachalasai Stadium, considered the highlight of the evening.
Puripol Boonsorn, Thailand's top sprinter and national record holder, along with Thawatchai Himead, two Thai runners, advanced to compete for the gold medal.
Earlier, in the qualifying round, “Biu” set a time of 9.94 seconds, breaking the 10-second barrier for the first time after a long wait.
In the final, “Biu” finished first with a time of 10.00 seconds, winning the gold medal, while the silver and bronze went to athletes from Indonesia and Vietnam respectively.
