Updates on the 33rd SEA Games today (15 Dec 2025), the sixth day of competition with 45 gold medals at stake. “Biu” Phuriphon Boonsoan enters his third event, leading the men's 4x100m relay team in pursuit of the championship. Meanwhile, three Thai weightlifters will continue competing for gold medals. The Thai women's volleyball team will play in the semifinal, and if victorious, will advance to defend their 17th title. The “War Elephants,” Thailand's national football team, face Malaysia in the semifinals. Thairath TV 32, ONE 31, PPTV 36, T Sports 7, and TrueVisions NOW will broadcast live throughout the day.

Today, Her Majesty the Queen leads the Thai sailing team in the SSL 47 category, competing for the first day at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Najomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, starting at 12:00 PM. This event runs continuously until 18 Dec 2025, with participating countries including Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

In athletics, with 10 gold medals contested at Suphachalasai Stadium starting at 9:00 AM, the highlight is 19-year-old sprinter “Biu” Phuriphon Boonsoan competing in his third event, leading the men's 4x100m relay team at 6:55 PM. The relay race itself begins at 7:00 PM.

Weightlifting contests for 3 gold medals will be held at the Chonburi Sports School, with three Thai lifters competing for gold. Starting with Thanaporn Saetia in the women's 63 kg category at 1:00 PM, followed by Nattawut Suebsuan in the men's 79 kg at 3:00 PM, and Pattharida Wongsing in the women's 69 kg at 5:00 PM.

For women's volleyball, if the Thai national team wins the semifinals, they will compete in the final to defend their 17th title at the Indoor Stadium, Huamark Sports Complex, at 5:00 PM. In men's football semifinals at Rajamangala National Stadium, the “War Elephants” Thailand face Malaysia at 8:00 PM, while the first semifinal match features Vietnam versus the Philippines at 3:30 PM.

The 45 gold medals contested today include: swimming (8 golds) at Huamark Sports Complex Pool starting at 9:00 AM; athletics (10 golds) at Suphachalasai Stadium starting at 9:00 AM; snooker (2 golds) at Thunderdome starting at 2:00 PM; bowling (1 gold) at Blue O Rhythm & Bowl, Major Cineplex Ratchayothin starting at 10:00 AM; cycling road race (2 golds) on the Prachinburi-Nakhon Nayok-Chachoengsao route starting at 9:00 AM; extreme wakeboarding (1 gold) at ESC Wake Park, Pathum Thani starting at 1:00 PM.

Also contested are gymnastics (1 gold) at Thammasat University Rangsit starting at 9:30 AM; kickboxing (3 golds) at Assumption University starting at 3:00 PM; petanque (2 golds) at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University starting at 10:00 AM; shooting (1 gold) at Huamark Sports Complex starting at 9:30 AM; volleyball (1 gold) at Huamark Indoor Stadium starting at 5:00 PM; weightlifting (3 golds) at Chonburi Sports School starting at 1:00 PM; and wushu (10 golds) at Chaeng Watthana Government Complex starting at 10:00 AM.
