The 33rd SEA Games today (18 Dec) marks the 9th competition day with 36 gold medals at stake. Meanwhile, Thai track cycling fields full strength with “TJ” Jai Angsuthasawit in the keirin and “Beez” Jutatip Maneephan in the scratch race vying for gold. Today, Her Majesty the Queen leads the Thai sailing team in the SSL 47 keelboat event on the 4th and final day at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Najomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, starting at 12:00. Competitors include Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Additional gold medals include: 1 in esports at Chulalongkorn University’s Sala Phra Kiao starting at 10:00; 3 in fencing at Fashion Island starting at 10:00; 2 in football and futsal with men's football final at Rajamangala Stadium at 19:30 and women's futsal at Bangkok Thonburi University at 16:30; 1 in ice skating at Imperial World Samrong starting at 10:00; and 2 in kabaddi at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin starting at 09:00.

Also contested are 2 gold medals in modern pentathlon at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya starting at 16:00; 1 in sailing SSL 47 keelboat at Ocean Marina Yacht Club, Chonburi starting at 12:00; 2 in takraw at Nakhon Pathom Municipal Sports Center starting at 09:00; 1 in clay pigeon shooting at Photharam, Ratchaburi starting at 09:00; 2 in tennis at the National Tennis Development Center, Muang Thong Thani starting at 10:00; and 4 in wrestling at Pacific Park, Si Racha starting at 14:00.
