Thanakrit Chotmuangpak reveals the adjustments needed to unlock the first goal for the Thailand National Team at the 2025 ASEAN Games hosted by Thailand.
On 12 Dec 2025 at 16:30, at the ThaiBev Football Academy, the Thailand men's national football team for the SEA Games continued training to prepare for the men's football semifinal at the SEA Games. This session focused on physical recovery, correcting mistakes from two group stage games, and preparing for the semifinal match.
Before training, Thanakrit Chotmuangpak, midfielder from Buriram United, said, "In the first half yesterday, it felt like we couldn’t find our rhythm, but at halftime, we communicated more and played according to our training, which went well. Personally, I’m a bit unsatisfied with the final moments and finishing."
"It’s unfortunate we haven’t scored our first goal at the SEA Games yet, but I believe I want to score in the next match. The semifinal won’t be an easy game regardless of who we face. We must win to reach the final and achieve our goal. I encourage everyone to come watch us; we will win and play in a way that fans will enjoy, and bring the championship to everyone. I invite all to watch the semifinal match."
The Thailand men's national football team will compete in the 33rd SEA Games semifinal against the runner-up of Group B or C at Rajamangala Stadium on 15 Dec 2025 at 20:00. The match will be broadcast live on PPTV HD 36 and the True Vision NOW app.
