On 13 December 2025, the Thai weightlifting team competed in three categories and secured medals in all, earning 2 golds and 1 silver.
Silver medal in the women's 48 kg category won by “Arm” Thanyathon Sukkharoen.
Gold medal in the men's 60 kg category claimed by “Fang” Theerapong Silachai.
Gold medal in the women's 53 kg category secured by “Oil” Surachana Kamban Nam.
On the final day of competition, Thailand will field athletes in three more categories, all with medal prospects. The highlight is “Weerapol Wichuma,” the 2024 Olympic silver medalist and two-time gold medalist at the 2025 World Weightlifting Championships, competing in the men's 71 kg class.
