Thailands Jet Ski Team Poised to Win 5 Gold Medals at 33rd SEA Games 2025

Thailand's national jet ski team is on track to win gold medals in five categories for the Thai national sports delegation during the third day of competition at the 33rd SEA Games jet ski events held at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, Chonburi.


On 13 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the third day of the 33rd SEA Games jet ski competition, featuring six gold medals, took place at Jomtien Beach, Pattaya, Chonburi. The event included the third moto of four in five categories. In the Ski 1500 Stock class, which prohibits engine modifications, Thailand's Thanawit Moli continued his strong performance from the first two days by calmly securing first place in the third moto, marking his third consecutive win. Felix Pontinho from the Philippines finished second, and Cody Lorenzo Pontinho, also from the Philippines, placed third.

After three motos, Thanawit leads with a perfect 180 points, followed by Cody Pontinho with 154 points. Another Thai racer, Nantawat Singurai, whose boat was damaged in the third moto, holds 139 points, tied with Felix Pontinho.

In the Runabout 1100 Stock class, which also prohibits engine modifications, Thai female racer Sasina Phiwngam maintained her momentum by taking an early lead and confidently riding to first place in the third moto. Nicolas Ignacio from the Philippines finished second, and Fahilah Nurfaizi from Indonesia took third.

Meanwhile, Thai racer Piarrat Srikongrak had to withdraw due to boat damage. After three motos, Sasina leads with 180 points, close to winning gold. Ignacio is second with 144 points, and Kate Merchado from the Philippines stands third with 139 points.

In the Ski GP class, which allows engine modifications, in the third moto, Thanawin Moli, holding the points lead, fought a hot start battle with fellow Thai racer Anon Hongklang before taking the lead to finish first for the third consecutive moto. Anon experienced boat issues and finished third, while Cody Lorenzo Pontinho from the Philippines came in second. After three motos, Thanawin leads with 180 points, followed by Anon with 159 and Pontinho with 144 points.

In the Runabout Limited class, Supak Setthura returned to strong form by winning the 10-lap race. Angelo Ventus from the Philippines also performed well, finishing second ahead of Thai racer Kasidit Theeraprateep in third. After three motos, Supak leads comfortably with 173 points, Ventus is second with 154 points, and Kasidit holds third with 144 points.

Finally, in the Runabout Stock class, which prohibits engine modifications, Phanphol Theerapatpanich maintained his momentum by winning the third consecutive moto. Aksa Sutan Aswar from Indonesia pressed hard to finish second, followed by fellow Indonesian Fahilah Nurfaizi in third.

Meanwhile, Thai racer Theera Setthura experienced boat problems and finished fourth. After three motos, Phanphol leads with a perfect 180 points, Aswar is second with 154 points, and Theera is third with 144 points.

For the final day of the SEA Games jet ski medal races on 14 Dec 2025 GMT+7, besides the five categories where Thailand leads, there is also a gold medal chance in the Endurance Open class. Thai athlete Thaphatwat Josornnuson is tied in points with an Indonesian competitor. The Jet Ski Association of Thailand will livestream the event on their Facebook Fanpage starting at 08:30.
