On 14 December 2025, the live broadcast schedule for the 33rd SEA Games, hosted by Thailand, marks the fifth competition day with a total of 75 gold medals contested. Badminton is among the sports expected to bring gold medals for Thailand.
At the 2025 SEA Games badminton individual events, 5 gold medals will be contested at Gymnasium 4, Thammasat University Rangsit Campus. The Thai national badminton team has already secured 2 gold medals by reaching the finals in two categories: mixed doubles and women's singles.
- "Title" Ruttanapak Oupthong and "Jane" Choeanicha Sudjaiprarat, the 4th seeded pair (world ranking 13), will face "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supisara Paewsampran, the 2nd seeded pair (world ranking 4).
- "May" Ratchanok Intanon, the 2nd seed (world ranking 8), aiming for a gold medal in her last SEA Games appearance, will compete against "May" Supanida Katethong, the 3rd seed (world ranking 12).
