
SEA Games 2025 badminton results: "Title-Jane" excel, defeating "Bas-Fem" to win their first gold medal.
On 14 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the badminton event at SEA Games 2025, hosted by Thailand at Gymnasium 4, Thammasat University, Rangsit Center, reached its final day with five individual gold medals contested.
The Thai national badminton team had already secured two SEA Games 2025 gold medals by reaching the finals in two categories: mixed doubles and women's singles.
The first match in mixed doubles featured "Title" Ruttanapak Upthong and "Jane" Choeinicha Sudjaiprarat, the tournament's fourth seeds (world rank 13), facing "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supisara Paewsampran, the second seeds (world rank 4).
In the first game, both pairs fought fiercely and closely until "Title" and "Jane" scored crucial points to win 22-20, taking a 1-0 lead.
In the second game, "Bas" and "Fem" rallied to lead up to 19 points but failed to close it out, while "Title" and "Jane" caught up at 19-19 and then edged ahead to win 21-19.
"Title" Ruttanapak Upthong and "Jane" Choeinicha Sudjaiprarat won 2-0 games (22-20, 21-19) to claim their first SEA Games gold medal. This marked their sixth mixed doubles title since partnering in 2022 and their second championship of the year.
