10-Year-Old Nong Mini Opens Up After Winning Gold in Skateboarding at SEA Games 2025

"Nong Mini" Jankao Udomphen opens up after winning the gold medal in skateboarding at the 2025 SEA Games.

Ten-year-old "Nong Mini" Jankao Udomphen said she is extremely proud after winning her first ASEAN gold medal in the women's street skateboarding event with a total score of 160.34 points. She dedicates this gold medal to her parents.

"I feel very proud of myself, and I was very excited during the competition. I didn't think I could do it."

"I started skateboarding when I was 4 years old. Back then, I lived in Nong Khai, and my father saw that I was riding my bike far away and worried I might have an accident, so he encouraged me to skateboard so I could stay close to our shop in Nong Khai."

"At first, it felt a little difficult, but now it’s not hard anymore. I practice hard and never give up."

"I want to dedicate this gold medal to my parents because they taught me how to skateboard. I also want to go to the Olympics like P'ST and win an Olympic gold medal."

"Thank you to all Thai people who have cheered for me, and thank you for supporting all Thai athletes," said Nong Mini.
