"Sia Boat" shocks everyone with a second round of fiery remarks after the 2025 SEA Games Muay Thai match-fixing drama.
On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Sia Boat Nuttadej Vachirarattanawong, a young promoter from the Petchyindee camp, posted on his personal social media after the final day of the 2025 SEA Games Muay Thai competition hosted by Thailand.
The 2025 SEA Games Muay Thai event sparked match-fixing controversy after, on 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Phet Suphan P. Dawroongruang, also known as Chalorchai Meenild, posted on social media and gave interviews claiming the result was fixed against him in the 51 kg men's semifinal to allow a Malaysian boxer to win the gold medal.
Meanwhile, today Mongkut Phet Phet Prow Fah lost by a 28-29 points decision to Islay Erika Mobogaw from the Philippines, missing out on the SEA Games gold medal amid boos from the crowd. Prominent figures in the boxing community and sports journalists agreed that Mongkut Phet deserved to win.
Sia Boat Nuttadej Vachirarattanawong, who was ringside cheering for Mongkut Phet, posted after the first round, "In all my life watching boxing, this is the most disgraceful match I've ever seen. I thought match-fixing was just a rumor. Please don't exploit Muay Thai like this."
Recently, Sia Boat shared a photo of seats by the ring with finished competitors, including Mongkut Phet and Phet Suphan, who are suspected of losing due to fixed outcomes, along with a message reflecting unresolved problems: "From national athletes to victims, after watching every match, honestly, I really feel sorry for the boxers."
"They received their allowances in full a day before the final. They've been self-reliant, training in isolation for years. In the end, is this what they deserve???"
"I've spoken with everyone enduring this because of their pride as national athletes. #Disgrace #SEA Games 2025"
