
Thailand's women's futsal team defeated the Philippines to win the bronze medal at the 2025 SEA Games.
On 18 Dec 2025, during the women's futsal competition at the 33rd SEA Games held at BTU HALL, Bangkokthonburi University, the 8th-ranked Thailand national team faced the Philippines on Thursday, 18 December 2025, at 13:30 GMT+7.
In this match, head coach "Coach O" Thanathorn Sunthanaprasit started with five players: goalkeeper Nuengrutai Sorahong, Jenjira Buppha, Saowapa Tranga, Nattamon Ajkla, and Darika Phianpailun.
At the 2nd minute, Thailand took the lead 1-0 with a goal by Ariya Sae-Ten.
Then at the 6th minute, Thailand extended their lead to 2-0 with a goal from Sasikan Thongdee.
At the 7th minute, Paeploy Huajaipetch scored, putting Thailand ahead 3-0, which remained the halftime score.
In the second half, at the 35th minute, Jenjira Buppha scored to increase Thailand's lead to 4-0.
At the 39th minute, Suchanat Nakmai scored the final goal, sealing Thailand's 5-0 win over the Philippines.
No further goals were scored in the remaining time, and the match ended with Thailand's women's futsal team defeating the Philippines 5-0 to claim the bronze medal at the 33rd SEA Games women's futsal competition.
Following this, a meeting will be held to review the Thailand women's futsal team's performance and to plan for upcoming tournaments.
