The competition schedule for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, or SEA Games 2025, on 20 Dec 2025, the final day, features an intense contest for 3 gold medals along with live broadcast details.


The 33rd SEA Games today (20 Dec) conclude with 3 gold medals contested. Thai sports fans can still cheer for the men's and women's sepak takraw singles teams competing for 2 gold medals at the Nakhon Pathom Municipal Sports Center. The schedule begins with the men's singles sepak takraw semifinal at 09:00, followed by the women's singles played in a round-robin format to find the best team. In the final match, the Thai women's team faces Vietnam at 11:00. The men's singles final is at 12:00. Additionally, the marathon swimming event awards 1 gold medal at the Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort in Chonburi, starting at 10:00.


Meanwhile, the closing ceremony takes place the same evening at Rajamangala National Stadium, Huamark, organized by the Sports Authority of Thailand. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul will preside, starting at 19:00. The ceremony will be broadcast live on PPTV 36, NBT, T Sports 7, and TrueVisions NOW. It will begin with a moment of silence honoring Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, followed by the hoisting of the Thai national flag. Next is a performance titled "The Sound of Whistle...Echoes from the Competition," then a parade featuring athletes from 54 sports disciplines and a highlight video of memorable moments from the games before extinguishing the flame to close the event.


The ceremony continues with lowering the Southeast Asian Games Federation flag and the 33rd SEA Games flag. Then, the flag handover ceremony will raise the flag of the next host country, Malaysia, followed by a Malaysian cultural performance as they prepare to host the 34th edition in 2027. The event concludes with Thailand's closing performance, "The Sound of Champions...The Song of Winners." The show will feature talented singer and actor Tah Woo (Pittaya Saechua) and popular luk thung singer Kratae Rsiam (Tra Boonyaleang), adding vibrant entertainment to the ceremony.
