SEA Games 2025 schedule for today, 19 Dec 2025: Thai futsal team aims for sixth consecutive championship with live broadcast channels.
On 19 December 2025, the 33rd SEA Games, hosted by Thailand, enters its tenth day, the penultimate day of competition, with a total of 81 gold medals at stake. Futsal remains one of Thailand's key hopes for a gold medal.
The Football Association of Thailand has already missed out on three gold medals (men’s football won silver, women’s football bronze, women’s futsal bronze) from their target of four golds, leaving men’s futsal as the last remaining hope.
The latest situation shows Thai futsal is close to clinching the 2025 SEA Games gold, currently leading the standings with a perfect 9 points from 3 matches in a round-robin format of 5 teams. They lead second-place Indonesia with 6 points and third-place Malaysia, who have played all 4 matches and also have 6 points.
The Thai men’s futsal team will decide the 2025 SEA Games championship against Indonesia in the final match. The Thai team needs only to avoid defeat to secure their sixth consecutive gold medal, following titles in 2007, 2011, 2013, 2017, and 2021.
