
Thai sports fans must not miss this! Here are the channels to watch the live broadcast of the SEA Games 2025 closing ceremony today, 20 Dec 2025.
On 20 December 2025, multiple channels will broadcast live the closing ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games, allowing Thai sports fans nationwide to cheer on their athletes.
The SEA Games 2025 has been grandly organized with a total of 50 sports competing for 574 gold medals, along with 3 demonstration sports, held from 3 to 20 December 2025.
The Thai athletes achieved 233 gold, 154 silver, and 108 bronze medals, becoming overall champions for the 14th time. This marks their return to the top after 10 years, last winning at the 28th SEA Games in Singapore in 2015. They also broke Vietnam’s previous record of 205 gold medals set at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam in 2022.
The closing ceremony program for the 33rd SEA Games will be broadcast live on PPTV HD, T Sports, NBT, and TrueVisions NOW, starting from 19:00 onwards.
The highlight performances begin with “The Sound of Whistle…Echoes of Competition,” showcasing athletes’ determination and effort, followed by a parade uniting athletes from all 54 sports.
Additionally, special shows will feature top Thai artists such as Tah Woo Pittaya and the queen of Luk Thung, Kratae R Siam, delivering energetic entertainment under the theme “The Sound of Champions…Songs of the Victors,” creating a joyful and proud farewell atmosphere.
The eagerly awaited moment is the extinguishing of the flame that burned throughout the competition, along with lowering the flag of the Southeast Asian Games Federation to prepare for handing over to Malaysia, the host of the 34th SEA Games in 2027. Malaysia has prepared a special performance to officially welcome all athletes to the next games, symbolizing boundless friendship and the start of a new chapter in ASEAN sports.
