Top Muay Thai Fighters from Northeast Zone Advance to MSC Semifinals at Rajadamnern

Representatives of the elite Muay Thai fighters from the Northeast zone have advanced to compete in the MSC Championship semifinals at Rajadamnern Stadium.

The Muay Thai sporting event "MSC Championship 2025" (MSC2025), organized by the Boxing Sports Committee under the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT), continues its nationwide circuit. On 25 December, the Northeast regional finals were held at the Dome Wetsuwan Boxing Stadium in Udon Thani Province, drawing large crowds of boxing fans. The event was honored by Mr. Somchai Poolsawat, chairman of the organizing committee, who presided over the competition.

The results of the Northeast regional finals are as follows:

Match 1, Men’s 115-118 lbs: Sornthanong TK Yuththana (Rot Suay Ja Jet) won by points over Kritphet J. Phatariya Sports Siam Surin.

Match 2, Women’s 105-112 lbs: Pinphet M. Rajabhat Korat won by points against Mafia Phetmongkondee.

Match 3, Men’s 122-126 lbs: Raksan Suk Sirilak Muay Thai (S.T. Hiew Bangsaen) won by knockout in round 2 against Ploytaweesak Neng Sub Yai.

Match 4, Women’s 112-118 lbs: Phetsamart S. Udkigyms lost by points to Jelly M. Rajabhat Korat.

Match 5, Men’s 130-135 lbs: Rittichai A. Wanghin won by points over Phetsuphan Luk Muang Phet.

Match 6, Men’s 140-147 lbs: Saengphet Lukboonmee was knocked out in round 2 by Once Upon a Time, Buk King Lang Khao X Farm Sukhphet Ban Khwao.

Additionally, there were three special bouts included in the event:

Match 7, 111 lbs: Pepsi Sujibamee Kiao won by knockout in round 3 over Yodsayam J. Phatariya Sports Siam Surin (Namduem T2 Water Ubon).

Match 8, 124 lbs: Chalamphet P. Pluem Gym won by knockout in round 4 against Srithanachai Sujibamee Kiao.

Match 9, 130 lbs: Dokmaidaeng Miami Condo Bangpu lost by knockout in round 3 to Phayakhao N.T. Somyot Muay Thai.

The next venue will host the Northern regional finals in Chiang Mai Province on 5 January 2026 GMT+7.

The Sports Authority of Thailand's Boxing Sports Committee organized the "MSC Championship 2025" to promote development among all seven Muay Thai sport categories, as defined by the Boxing Sports Act of 1999. The event aims to establish standardized practices for Muay Thai competitions and provide a platform to nurture new local fighters into professional sports and eventually international levels. The MSC Championship 2025 is scheduled from November 2025 to February 2026, featuring over 200 athletes nationwide competing in a knockout format. The regional contests are divided into four zones: Northern zone at Chiang Mai Municipal Gymnasium in Chiang Mai; Central, Eastern, and Western zones at Max Muay Thai Stadium, Pattaya, Chonburi; Northeast zone at Udon Thani Municipal Multipurpose Dome in Udon Thani; and Southern zone at Ruamjai Multipurpose Hall, Kanchanadit District, Surat Thani.
