Prone Shooting Supports SAT in Enhancing Landscape of Chonburi Sports Training Center

The Prone Shooting Association supports the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) in enhancing the landscape of the Chonburi Sports Training Center, providing full supplementary equipment to accommodate future international events.

After completing the 33rd Southeast Asian Games, the Prone Shooting Sports Association of Thailand, managed by its executive committee led by General Permsak Puangsaroj as president, secured 3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze medals. The competition was held at the Eastern National Sports Training Center in Huay Yai, Chonburi Province.

To benefit the Eastern National Sports Training Center in Chonburi, General Permsak Puangsaroj, president of the Association, donated equipment to enhance the center's capabilities, including restrooms, solar-powered lighting systems, and landscape improvements such as artificial grass and trees, to the Sports Authority of Thailand Region 1 office. The handover took place on 15 Dec and was received by Mr. Thatchanat Thongprakob, Deputy Governor of SAT for Strategy and Information Technology.

General Permsak stated that since the Prone Shooting Association uses the training center as a practice and competition venue for national and international events, they recognize the importance of improving the overall landscape to ensure convenience and safety for athletes, staff, and the public using the facilities for exercise, public benefit, and recreational activities. The improvements also aim to enhance aesthetics and atmosphere, leaving a positive impression on all users, including foreign athletes who will participate in upcoming international competitions held there.
