The "Jet Ski World Cup 2025" declared its ultimate prestige through outstanding achievements, drawing more than 10,000 attendees, earning praise from global associations and athletes.
On 30 Dec 2025, Thai jet ski sports reached the highest recognition on the global sports stage, gaining full acknowledgment across all aspects—from world champion athletes and international sports associations to the recent success of hosting WGP#1 World Cup 2025. This clearly established Thailand as a "permanent world sport destination," confidently generating over 680 million baht in economic circulation and delivering multiple other benefits.
Mr. Priket Suebsahakarn, director of the WGP#1 Jet Ski World Tournament, revealed that the recent Thai Airways Jet Ski World Cup 2025 in Pattaya demonstrated success on many levels. The greatest benefit for Thailand is becoming a "permanent world sport destination." Within this framework, it stands as one of Thailand’s leading sports tournament brands, attracting 10,000 attendees worldwide and effectively meeting the economic circulation target of over 680 million baht.
The 3,129 international athletes who participated came from 40 countries worldwide. This group spent heavily in various areas and stayed in Thailand for more than two weeks, mostly touring before and after the event, representing a high-quality consumer base. Meanwhile, 7,413 spectators and exhibitors from 74 countries clearly showed that the Jet Ski World Cup tournament has grown into one of Thailand’s attractive international tourism products. Other highlights include requests from over 20 countries to host World Series championship qualifying events.
Requests to national jet ski associations from various countries to represent WGP#1 in selecting their athletes for competition, along with multiple Thai jet ski sports industry products exported and significantly growing in global markets, and the increasing hiring of Thai professional technical teams and mechanics by racing teams worldwide to tune engines—all demonstrate clear progress.
Today, Thai jet ski sports lead the global jet ski management scene. Even the International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) of the United States and the European Jet Ski Association must heed development policies from WGP#1, the rights holder of the world jet ski tournament based in Thailand. This robust sports model stems from focusing on two main areas: performance sports development and valuing Thai sports tournaments, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Sports Authority of Thailand, and the Professional Sports Development Fund. Thanks are also extended to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways, and Vana Nava Water Jungle for supporting Thai sports to build markets and achievements on the world stage.
