Cino-Pacific Generously Awards Bonus to Cyclists Despite No Medals AOT Fully Supports Cycling

"Cino-Pacific" generously awarded bonus money to cyclists, even those without medals, as consolation prizes. AOT expresses full support for cycling sports.


On 6 January 2026, “Sergeant Major Muek” led the Thai national cycling team to thank the sponsors, Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), for supporting the Cycling Association of Thailand during the 33rd SEA Games. The team achieved great success with 10 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals, securing the top gold medal position. Mr. Ekachai Sewatsompop, Managing Director of Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd., presented special prize money to both medal-winning and non-medal-winning athletes, as well as coaches and staff, totaling 3,025,000 baht. Meanwhile, AOT pledged full support for the Cycling Association of Thailand.


“Sergeant Major Muek,” General Decha Hemkrasri, Vice President of the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC), President of the ASEAN Cycling Federation (ACF), and President of the Cycling Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, revealed that following the Thai national cycling team’s excellent performance at the 33rd SEA Games from 9 to 21 December 2025—winning 10 gold, 7 silver, and 3 bronze medals and securing the top gold medal title—he recently brought the road, mountain bike, BMX, and track cycling teams to meet Mr. Ekachai Sewatsompop, Managing Director of Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, to express gratitude for their support during the SEA Games. The meeting took place at Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. on 6 January.


General Decha stated that on this occasion, Mr. Ekachai Sewatsompop awarded special prize money to medal-winning athletes as follows: 100,000 baht for gold, 50,000 baht for silver, and 30,000 baht for bronze medalists. Coaches and athletes without medals received 15,000 baht each, totaling 3,025,000 baht.


Additionally, on 5 January, General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, led the Thai national team to meet Ms. Paweena Jariyathitipong, Director General of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT), to thank her for supporting the Cycling Association of Thailand under the "One Sport, One State Enterprise" initiative during the 33rd SEA Games. The meeting was held at AOT’s headquarters.


General Decha mentioned that the Cycling Association of Thailand has received strong support from Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) and AOT. On this occasion, he brought the cycling team to express thanks and report on their performance, emphasizing that with the funding from these two organizations, the team has worked hard and exceeded their goals.

Looking ahead, the next goal is the 20th Asian Games in Japan from 19 September to 4 October 2026. The association has already begun preparing teams across all disciplines and plans to send athletes to various competitions to accumulate points and secure quotas for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, USA. Continuous effort and proven performance are essential to build the nation’s reputation.


Ms. Paweena Jariyathitipong, Director General of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited, expressed her gratitude to the Cycling Association of Thailand for their achievements and bringing honor to Thailand by winning many medals. As a supporting agency, AOT is very pleased and proud of all the athletes and is committed to fully supporting the Cycling Association of Thailand.


Meanwhile, representatives of the Thai national cycling team, Second Lieutenant Jutatip Maneepan and Jai Angsuthasawit, expressed their thanks to AOT and Cino-Pacific Trading (Thailand) Co., Ltd. for their continuous support. They acknowledged General Decha Hemkrasri’s strong dedication and care for all athletes, including providing accommodation, food, equipment, and promptly addressing any issues with spare parts. He also arranged advances on training and competition allowances, enabling athletes to focus fully on training and competition, leading to their success. The athletes promised to continue giving their best and fighting with all their hearts in future competitions to achieve their goals and bring happiness to the Thai people.
