On 20 January 2026, Tae Mongkolkit Suksintharanon, prime minister candidate of the New Alternative Party, had previously announced his campaign policies for the 8 February 2026 general election, including:
- Tax exemption on personal income tax forms 90-91 for those having children.
- Receive 10,000 baht upon pregnancy plus 10,000 baht monthly prenatal care.
- Working-age adults doing 40-100 push-ups per day receive a 10% salary increase.
- Appoint Elon Musk as the prime minister’s advisor on Thai space technology.
- Build Central shopping malls branches on Mars, Jupiter, and the Moon.
- Organize trips to take Thai people into space.
- Establish a space force and space military bases.
- Anyone selling lottery tickets above 80 baht faces 5 years in prison per ticket.
- Thailand will have 10 nuclear weapons.
- Promote equality by proposing that women may have up to four husbands.
- Support Thai football to reach the World Cup final rounds with an annual budget of 2 billion baht.
Most recently, Mongkolkit visited Mahidol University, Salaya campus, between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. to present his vision and the New Alternative Party’s policies. One activity involved doing 30 push-ups together with students, aligning with the policy of "40-100 push-ups per day to receive a 10% salary increase."
