Recently, "Bew" Phuriphon Boonsorn denied the news, stating he was born in Thailand and will compete only under the Thai national team, according to disclosures from Ch7HD Sports.
If Bew Phuriphon chooses to change nationality, he would be banned from all competitions for up to 3 years under World Athletics regulations. Important events he would miss include the 2026 Asian Games, 2027 Asian Athletics Championships, 2027 World University Games, 2027 World Athletics Championships, and the 2028 Olympics.
