Thailand secures 7th consecutive gold title, final medal tally of 2025 ASEAN Para Games as of 25 Jan 2026 GMT+7

On 25 January 2026 GMT+7, the final medal standings of the 13th ASEAN Para Games, a regional disability sports event hosted by Thailand in Nakhon Ratchasima province, were announced after the last gold medal contests.

The Thai national para athletes maintained their high standard by adding another 33 gold medals, bringing Thailand’s total to 175 golds, securing the top position in the 2025 ASEAN Para Games and marking Thailand’s 7th time as the leading gold medalist.

The final gold medal for Team Thailand came from the cerebral palsy (CP) football team, which narrowly defeated Myanmar 1-0 in the final match.

Tomorrow (26 January 2026 GMT+7) will be the closing ceremony of the 2025 ASEAN Para Games at the 80th Birthday Anniversary Sports Complex, 5 December 2007, in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

Final medal standings for the 2025 ASEAN Para Games

1st: Thailand – 176 gold, 155 silver, 158 bronze (total 489)

2nd: Indonesia – 135 gold, 144 silver, 114 bronze (total 393)

3rd: Malaysia – 64 gold, 64 silver, 73 bronze (total 201)

4th: Philippines – 45 gold, 37 silver, 52 bronze (total 134)

5th: Vietnam – 38 gold, 48 silver, 58 bronze (total 144)

6th: Myanmar – 20 gold, 18 silver, 20 bronze (total 58)

7th: Singapore – 13 gold, 7 silver, 9 bronze (total 29)

8th: Timor-Leste – 3 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze (total 5)

9th: Laos – 2 gold, 5 silver, 9 bronze (total 16)

10th: Brunei – 1 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze (total 6)
