Fired-Up Former Thai National Athlete Firmly States Refusal to Vote for Peoples Party

Former Thai national athlete posts on Facebook affirming she will not vote for the "People's Party" in the 2026 election.

On 3 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Rewadee Sritao, former Thai national runner, publicly declared her political stance ahead of the election on Sunday, 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7.

Rewadee posted on Facebook, saying, "I fear the collapse of the nation more, prompted by someone commenting that they would vote for the People's Party because in their 50-plus years they've only encountered corruption and fraud."

"I think differently. Corruption and fraud can be gradually reduced and prevented, starting with ourselves by minimizing dishonesty personally—being honest with ourselves, our families, society, and professions, which then extends to the nation. We should not support corruption and fraud, beginning with ourselves."

#I sincerely believe and fear corruption less than the nation's collapse. #I will not vote for the People's Party or the 'Rotten Orange' faction. #I choose the nation, religion, and monarchy.
