Congratulations to Bew Puripol on Joining the Police Force After Bringing Honor to Thailand Mother Opens Up Immediately

Congratulations to "Bew Puripol" for being appointed as a police officer after bringing honor to Thailand. His mother shared her immediate thoughts.

On 16 February 2026, Bew Puripol Boonsorn, a top athlete of the Thai national athletics team, was officially appointed as a police constable, following his recent achievement of winning 3 gold medals at the 2025 SEA Games held in Thailand last December.

Bew Puripol became the first ASEAN runner to complete the 100 meters in under 10 seconds, clocking 9.94 seconds, breaking both his personal and SEA Games records. He also set a new record in the 200 meters with a time of 20.07 seconds, and the 4×100 meter relay team broke the SEA Games record with a time of 38.28 seconds.

Recently, Supawadee Markpol, Bew Puripol Boonsorn’s mother, posted on Facebook congratulating her son: "Congratulations to my little policeman. May you succeed in every step you take. You are my pride, Bew Puripol. The uniform isn’t ready yet, but the spirit is fully prepared."

Bew Puripol has an outstanding record reflecting his qualifications. After bringing great honor to the country, he was considered under the athlete development program for excellence and was appointed to the Metropolitan Police Bureau (MPB). Similarly, Ta Sora-ot Dabbang was appointed to the Police Education Bureau (PEB).
