The Thai cue sports community is gearing up for a major event with the international 9-ball pool competition “Pattaya Open 2026,” a World Nineball Tour (WNT Ranking Event) held for the first time in Thailand through a collaboration between Think Curve, 3RE, S1, and the global sports organization Matchroom Multi Sport.
Matchroom Multi Sport including the Pattaya Open as a ranking event in the 2026 World Nineball Tour marks a significant milestone for Thai pool, guaranteeing participation from elite players worldwide competing for a total prize pool exceeding 50,000 US dollars (approximately 1.56 million baht).
The opening ceremony will begin on 1 March 2026 at 6:00 PM, featuring a miniature Khon performance by young actors portraying the “Yok Rob” episode, symbolizing fierce and honorable competition.
The tournament will take place from 2 to 6 March 2026 at S1 Pool Hall & Sport Bar in Pattaya city, Chonburi province.
Beyond intense competition, organizers are enhancing the experience with full “Sport Entertainment” to bring fans closer to the thrilling atmosphere.
