Guinness World Records has confirmed the world record of Thai parachutist “Super Toom” from his historic parachute landing at the highest point in the world, on the Ojos del Salado volcano in Chile, which is the world's highest volcano.
On 25 March 2026, Guinness World Records officially recognized a new world record by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanaboworn Sirikunakorn, known as “Super Toom,” after he succeeded in parachuting and landing at the world’s highest point on Ojos del Salado volcano in Chile. This is the highest volcano on Earth, and no human had ever parachuted and landed at that spot before.
This certification was officially published on the Guinness World Records website, and a certificate was sent to the Thai record holder. This marks “Super Toom’s” third world record, following his previous global recognition twice: parachuting with a 150-square-meter Thai flag above Mount Everest, certified by the Nepalese Media Association, and another jump over Antarctica, recognized by Skydive Antarctica.
“Super Toom” expressed pride in being Thai and is committed to doing everything to bring honor to the country, as well as to repay the land and the beloved institutions. He emphasized that all his success comes from dedication of both body and mind, as well as the instilling of patriotism and discipline since youth.
He also noted that all three world records and his future goals would not have been possible without support from Paul Henry de Baere and Nadia de Baere, two world-class parachutists who played crucial roles behind this historic achievement by the Thai athlete.
This success not only brings international prestige but also serves as further proof of Thai people's potential to surpass limits and create new history for the world.
