The new season of the jet ski competition "Toyota - WGP#1 Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026" adds 4 more champions.
The "Nong Khai Grand Prix 2026" kicked off with intense excitement. The Thai National Jet Ski Championship event, "Toyota - WGP#1 Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026," ran for four thrilling days from Thursday, 2 April to Sunday, 5 April 2026, at Nong Khai Reservoir, Wat That Subdistrict Municipality, Nong Khai Province, a vital lung of the Northeast region. The Jet Ski Association of Thailand and WGP#1, as organizers, received support from the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, Siam Watercraft, and the Government Lottery Office to stage this grand competition.
The official opening ceremony took place today. The Jet Ski Association of Thailand under royal patronage, led by Police General Detnarong Sutthichanbancha, president of the association, was honored by the presence of Nong Khai Governor Saransak Srikruanetr as the ceremony's chairman, along with Nong Khai Provincial Administrative Organization Chief Wuttikrai Changlek and Wat That Subdistrict Municipality Mayor Pramot Suksawat. They also attended the youth class WGP#3 final round timed slalom competition, where the results were as follows.
In the youth category 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. SKI 1100 STOCK, young Captain #525 Master Phubodin Sukprasert from team EON244D2MOTORSPORT claimed the championship with the best times of 1:37.31 and 1:37.44, earning the full 40 points.
Miss “Poon” #65 Peerada Mangmee from team INSANE MOTORSPORT by ZIC recorded the best times of 1:47.54 and 1:48.34, scoring a perfect 40 points to win the 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. WOMEN SKI 1100 STOCK title.
Master “Hangtu” #917 Kanphan Petchkuwiang from team JET SKI FOR RENT BY JOMPOL, last year's champion, demonstrated his skill again with best times of 1:39.07 and 1:38.77, earning 40 points and securing the championship in the 1-LAP SLALOM JUNIOR 8-13 Yrs. SEADOO SPARK STOCK category.
In the 1-LAP SLALOM JR 8-13 Yrs. WOMEN SEADOO SPARK STOCK class, Miss “Bambi” #23 Panisara Tawipat from PUSAN SEADOO JET SKI TEAM NAKHONPATHOM recorded best times of 1:41.46 and 1:43.06, earning the full 40 points and taking the championship.
