Two female racers, Mio #T26 Sasina Phiwngam and #T59 Lallana Duangphophim, took top positions on the podium at the "Nong Khai Grand Prix 2026."

The Thai Jet Ski Championship "Toyota - WGP One Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026" opened its season with thrilling races on water from 2-5 April 2026 at Bueng Nong Khai, Wat That Subdistrict Municipality, Nong Khai Province.

Kicking off the new season with excitement, the "Nong Khai Grand Prix 2026" was organized by the Jet Ski Association of Thailand and WGP#1, with support from the Sports Authority of Thailand, the National Sports Development Fund, Nong Khai Provincial Administrative Organization, Mr. Wutthikrai Changlek, and Wat That Subdistrict Mayor Mr. Pramot Suksawat, the landowner. The "Toyota - WGP#1 Waterjet Pro Tour Thailand 2026" competition ran intensely for four days from Thursday, 2 April to Sunday, 5 April 2026 at Bueng Nong Khai, Wat That Subdistrict Municipality, Nong Khai.

On day three of the competition, the WGP#2 class for amateurs and semi-professionals was contested. The remarkable young racer "Mio" #T26 Sasina Phiwngam, three-time Thailand champion in 2025, 2023, and 2021, current World Series champion, and recent 33rd SEA Games gold medalist, started the season powerfully by perfectly winning the WOMEN RUNABOUT 1100 STOCK class at the Nong Khai venue.

Meanwhile, WOMEN SKI STOCK competitor #59 Lallana Duangphophim staged a comeback to overtake "Namfon" #T159 Kamolwan Nernhong, a top racer and teammate from JET SKI FOR RENT BY JOMPOL, to seize the championship with a strong performance, also standing atop the podium in Nong Khai.

Local racer, Nong Khai native #17 "Oil" Attapon Khunsa, a seasoned competitor from the 777 PERFORMANCE by JUMBO TUNER team, four-time Thailand champion (2020, 2021, 2024, 2025), two-time consecutive World Cup champion (2024, 2025), and three-time World Series champion (2022, 2024, 2025), shocked his hometown by experiencing bad luck with mechanical failures in both motos. This allowed Chinese racer #33 Chen Shan from CHINA HAINAN NPRORACING to take the victory in the VETERANS 35+ RUNABOUT 2000 LIMITED class.

In the AMATEUR SKI MODIFIED class, rising Cambodian racer #93 Osman Min from FLAMINGO JET SKI TEAM delivered an outstanding performance by winning all motos, securing the championship in this category.
