The latest development from Ple Nakorn who posted a lengthy message defending his son “Oka” after some social media users criticized him for "posing" before competing.
On 7 April 2026, Ple Nakorn, a well-known actor and host, posted a message addressing netizens commenting on his son, "Nong Oka." He clearly explained that before the actual competition day, every athlete, including his son, undergoes months of intense, continuous training focused on fitness, body conditioning, and concentration, dedicating everything for just a few minutes of competition.
He emphasized that just before entering the gate to start, all competitors are in "full focus" mode; it is not a time to care about image or to please anyone, but a moment of utmost dedication and pressure.
Additionally, he responded directly to negative comments, urging critics to reflect on whether they contribute anything positive to society, and pointed out that such behavior qualifies as "Toxic," which undermines others.
However, Ple affirmed he is always open to criticism and welcomes constructive feedback if mistakes are made, but disagrees with criticism lacking understanding. He concluded that social media is a space for diverse opinions and he is prepared to respond from his own perspective.
This issue has been widely discussed on the TikTok channel “Ple Nakorn channel,” especially the clip of “Oka” that sparked this wave of criticism.
