Khon Kaen to Host Exciting Second Round of F1 Snooker Ranking Battle on 19 Apr

Khon Kaen is preparing to launch the second round of the intense snooker ranking battle with 'F1' leading the cueists on 19 April.

Top cueists gather in Khon Kaen for the “I-EA-T Thailand Ranking Circuit 2026.” F1 Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, Korn Nakhon Pathom, and Nook Songkhla lead the thrilling competition, with a Maximum Break prize approaching 400,000 baht. The event aims to revive snooker enthusiasm in Khon Kaen and elevate the province’s image as a Sports City from 19-24 April at Rachawadee Airport Hotel, Khon Kaen.

Mr. Yutthana Pothivihok, Deputy Governor of Khon Kaen, presided over the press conference for the “I-EA-T Thailand Ranking Circuit 2026” second round. Present were Mr. Navin Khamwiang, Deputy Chief Executive of Khon Kaen Provincial Administrative Organization; Mr. Sunthorn Jarumon, President of the Billiards Association of Thailand; Pol. Col. Atimeth Pholmuk, Superintendent of Muang Mai Police Station, Khon Kaen; Mr. Phopphon Kasemsan Na Ayudhya, Chairman of Khon Kaen Industrial Council; Dr. Nattiya Tansuk, President of Khon Kaen Tourism and MICE Association; Mr. Khemchat Somjaiwong, Managing Director of Rachawadee Airport Hotel, Khon Kaen; and Mr. Cheawphoch Krongthanin, Director of the Sports Authority of Thailand’s Khon Kaen office. The event was held at the Naphalai Room, Rachawadee Airport Hotel, Khon Kaen, on 9 April 2026.

Mr. Sunthorn Jarumon, President of the Billiards Association of Thailand, said the event aims to rejuvenate snooker enthusiasm in the provinces by inviting top national cueists to compete, including wildcard invitee “F1” Thepchaiya Un-Nooh, “Korn Nakhon Pathom” Phasakorn Suwannawat, “Nook Songkhla” Kritnas Lertsatyatorn, “Noo Daodeung” Nopadol Napajorn, “Kik Phitsanulok” Santipap Imboonsuk, and the latest Thailand youth champion rising star “Pae Bsat” Rittichai Chimphanang.

Additionally, there is a Century Break prize of 5,000 baht each, sponsored by Siepong 4x4 and Asia Cue, and a Maximum Break prize of 394,000 baht supported by Asia Cue, Siepong 4x4, and Niche Cue. Players using Niche Cue equipment will receive an extra 100,000 baht.
