BCC FC and Phra Mae Mari Sathorn rose as champions of the GLO Cup 2026 Bangkok zone, with eight U13-U15 teams advancing to the national stage alongside the announcement of the GLO STAR lineup.
The 8-a-side youth football competition, the Thailand National Finals organized by the Government Lottery Office, concluded its Bangkok and metropolitan regional qualifiers. Official results were confirmed for the U13 and U15 champions, the eight teams representing the zone, and the list of youth players selected for the GLO STAR project.
The final day of competition on 12 April 2026 featured intense matches from the quarterfinals through to the semifinals, finals, and third-place playoff, maintaining a high level of excitement throughout the day.
In the U13 category, BCC FC claimed the championship with a dominant performance throughout the tournament, not conceding a single goal. They narrowly defeated Soma Phapattana 1-0 in injury time to secure the Bangkok and metropolitan zone title.
For the U15 division, Phra Mae Mari Sathorn delivered an outstanding performance, surprising many by beating last year's national champions, Assumption United, 2-0 in the final to claim the zone championship.
The teams that reached the quarterfinals in both age groups earned the right to represent the Bangkok and metropolitan zone in the national finals, with eight teams per category as follows.

The GLO STAR project will continue selecting players from all seven regions nationwide before the national finals. Each category will be narrowed down to 15 players for the GLO STAR Camp training, and then further to three players per category who will earn the important opportunity to train in Japan for six months.
Meanwhile, the next regional qualifiers for the GLO Cup 2026 will be held in the southern zone in Songkhla province from 21 to 26 April 2026 to determine representatives advancing to the national finals.
