“Seewoo Park” Wins Super GENZ Boy at Bangchak Masters 2026

“Seewoo Park” crowned champion of Super GENZ Boy at 'Bangchak Masters 2026' Stage 2, securing a ticket to compete at the major international FCG event in the U.S.

The “Bangchak Masters 2026” Stage 2 youth golf tournament concluded successfully. This marks the fifth consecutive year of collaboration between The GENZ Company Limited and Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, continuing their commitment to developing Thai youth golfers to an international standard.

Stage 2 was held at Kabinburi Sports Club in Prachinburi Province from 18-19 April 2026 GMT+7.

The goal of this stage was to select top golfers for the GENZ development program and to grant them access to international competitions. This year, the tournament's standards were elevated to an international level. Results from all five stages throughout the season were recorded in the Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS), a key database for applying for scholarships abroad. Notably, stages 1, 4, and 5 were also certified by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), allowing Super GENZ and Special GENZ golfers to accumulate world ranking points.

The final round on Sunday, 19 April 2026 GMT+7, featured a highlight in the Super GENZ Boy category. The champion, in addition to receiving a trophy, earned a special prize. South Korea’s Seewoo Park delivered an outstanding performance, finishing with a two-day total of 6 under par 138. He won a special prize to fly directly to the United States for private coaching with renowned coach Josh Alpert (PGA - FlowCode Junior Golf) and a Division 1 coaching team, preparing intensively for the major international competition, the “19th Annual FCG International Junior Golf Championship 2026,” scheduled for June-July this year.

In the female division of this category, Phatsanamon Sutthirakpong claimed the trophy with a total score of 10 under par 134.

The Special GENZ Girl category (ages 19-23) was fiercely contested, culminating in a playoff. South Korea’s Seohyun Baek, who led after the first round, and Thai golfer Isayaporn Jiratsakul finished tied at 8 over par 152 after 36 holes. The playoff took place at hole 10, where both golfers remained composed amid challenging conditions and the country's longest course. Ultimately, Seohyun Baek closed out the playoff on the first hole to claim the championship.

This event also offered a golden opportunity for Junior GENZ and Super GENZ golfers with the best cumulative scores from stages 1-3 (six players) to earn the right to compete at the Yonex Junior Golf Championship 2026 in Japan. Additionally, the top three point earners at season’s end qualify for the GENZ CREW program, granting them free entry to compete in 2027, along with special activities like the GENZ Mind Training Camp. The GENZ team collaborated with Golfing Ground and the FlowCode team to provide mental game training. Overall, 28 young golfers who participated in stages 1-5 and were selected will also join a golf camp at the end of this year.
