Kiattisak Aims to Elevate Performance, Chase Podium in 2026 Rookies Cup First Round

Continuing his campaign, Kiattisak Singhapong aims to elevate his performance and chase a podium finish in the first round of the 2026 Rookies Cup at Jerez.


The latest update on "Mai Kiu" Kiattisak Singhapong, Thai rider number 85, is that he is preparing to compete in the FIM Junior GP World Championship and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup for the second consecutive year. The season will kick off with the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Jerez round at Circuito de Jerez Ángel Nieto, Spain, from 24-26 April.


The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a competition that emphasizes skill and rider ability since all participants receive motorcycles with identical specifications. Last season, "Mai Kiu" Kiattisak Singhapong competed in 7 events totaling 14 races, accumulating 58 points and finishing 15th overall out of 26 riders.


Regarding "Mai Kiu" Kiattisak Singhapong's readiness, the young Thai rider has recently been training in Spain for over two months, aiming to enhance his skills and achieve the planned performance goals.


"I have been training continuously following the 'Honda Racing Thailand' program, including nutrition, weight management, and muscle building since I was in Thailand. Now, I am in the final preparation phase here in Spain. This season, I am determined to improve my performance, and if the opportunity arises, I will strive to secure a podium finish," he said.


The 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is scheduled for 7 rounds across 6 countries: Jerez, Spain (24-26 April); Le Mans, France (8-10 May); Mugello, Italy (29-31 May); Assen, Netherlands (26-28 June); Sachsenring, Germany (10-12 July); Misano, Italy (11-13 September); and concluding at Red Bull Ring, Austria (18-20 September).
