KiatSak Singhapong delivered a hot performance, continuing to score points in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026 at Jerez Round Race 2.
The first round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026, Jerez Round Race 2, took place at Circuito de Jerez - Ángel Nieto in Spain on Sunday, 26 April 2026. "MaiQ" KiatSak Singhapong, a rising star rider from Honda Racing Thailand wearing number 85, participated in the race.
"MaiQ" KiatSak Singhapong started from grid 4 but faced ongoing challenges in an intense and thrilling competition, with positions changing almost constantly. At one point, the Thai rider dropped to 16th place. However, with strong determination, he refocused and increased his speed, overtaking to reach 2nd place before the final three laps.
In the final stages of the race, the leading group fiercely contested their positions. "MaiQ" KiatSak fought aggressively, exchanging overtakes with several world-class young competitors before finishing in 7th place. He earned an additional 9 points, moving up to 4th place in the overall standings with a total of 25 points.
"MaiQ" KiatSak Singhapong commented on the second race, saying, “Race 2 was extremely intense. Everyone was very fast. I made some mistakes that caused me to drop positions but I managed to recover. I still have areas to practice and improve before the next race.”
The second round of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup 2026 will take place at Le Mans Round from 8 to 10 May 2026 at Circuit de la Sarthe in France.
