The meeting was attended by executives and representatives from relevant agencies. Mr. Warawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Industry, chaired the meeting, joined by Dr. Suwanna Silpa-archa, Vice Chairperson of the Thai Olympic Committee under the Royal Patronage; Mr. Natthapong Sanguanjit, Governor of Suphanburi; Dr. Udom Prongfa, President of the Suphanburi Provincial Administrative Organization; Mr. Supawat Jongsiri ‘Supakorn,’ Chairman of Comart Production Company Limited; as well as heads of government departments, partner agency representatives, and related network partners. The meeting discussed plans to organize walking and running events alongside activities promoting Olympic culture, inspiring youth, social activities, environmentally friendly event management, and developing the “OLYMPIC DAY FAIR” into a creative space for families, communities, entrepreneurs, shops, and local products of Suphanburi. This event also aims to boost the local economy, stimulate tourism, and create opportunities for local entrepreneurs through the participation of runners, families, and the public from across the country. This initial meeting marks a significant start toward integrating cooperation from all sectors to make “OLYMPIC DAY SUPHANBURI 2026” more than a running event, but a space for societal movement together under the concept “Let’s Move Together.” The Thai Olympic Committee under the Royal Patronage and Suphanburi Province will hold the Olympic Day 2026 event on 27-28 June 2026 at the Suphanburi Provincial Central Stadium, Rua Yai Subdistrict, Mueang Suphanburi District.
