Thanach Laongpliu secured pole position as two rising Thai stars led the front, aiming for a debut championship win at the first round of the Malaysia Superbike 2026.
"Mix" Thanach Laongpliu and "Highpec" Kritsada Thanachot, two promising riders from Honda Racing Thailand, delivered fierce qualifying performances in the MSBK600 class at the opening round of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship 2026 on the morning of Saturday, 2 May 2026.
"Mix" Thanach Laongpliu, number 31, maintained strong form with a lap time of 02:10.688 minutes to claim pole position. Meanwhile, "Highpec" Kritsada Thanachot, number 18, performed impressively as well with a time of 02:11.189 minutes, securing second place and both aiming for podium finishes.
The two Honda Racing Thailand riders will race in Race 1 at 13:50, with Race 2 scheduled for Sunday, 3 May, also at 13:50 GMT+7.
