The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) partnered with Chonburi Province and Spartan Thailand to jointly organize the "2026 Pattaya Tough Mudder," the first-ever licensed global obstacle mud run event in Thailand, held grandly at Wisdom Valley, Chonburi Province, on Saturday, 2 May. This aligns with the Thai government's Sport Tourism policy to support licensed international sports competitions aiming to position the country as an International Sport Tourism destination.
The atmosphere of the "2026 Pattaya Tough Mudder" featured over 2,000 Thai and international athletes from more than 20 countries enthusiastically competing in this world-class mud run. Participants tackled intense mud obstacles, climbed high walls, ran through courses, crawled through mud under fences, and helped each other as teams to conquer the challenging, muddy obstacles. It was a test of physical strength, mental endurance, and team spirit, enjoyed by those who love to unleash their energy and focus on mutual support rather than competition results.
The first-time organization of the global licensed obstacle mud run Tough Mudder in Thailand exceeded the organizers' expectations, with overwhelming participation and a thrilling atmosphere that challenged every athlete to fully conquer the muddy obstacles. Despite being the first event in Thailand, it was grandly executed and generated over 150 million baht in revenue during the event.
