Meanwhile, "F1" Thepchaiya Unnu, ranked 18th globally, played smoothly to beat Bank Chanyont Sakon Nakhon, Pornpiya Kaosamran, 4-2 in frames, reaching the qualifying round of the Thailand Ranking Snooker Series Stage 3 in Phitsanulok.
The Thailand Ranking Snooker Circuit 2026 "I-EA-T Phitsanulok Cup" final stage 3 took place at Rattana Grand Convention, Phitsanulok, on 7 May 2026 GMT+7. On the fourth day, the quarterfinals featured best-of-seven frames matches. The highlight was the clash between "Top Chan," one of Thailand's top cueists, and "Phone Konhwan," Yanwarut Phueakklom, a rising star and former Thailand youth champion.
In the opening frame, Phone played a safety shot leaving a free white ball, allowing Top to pot a top-right corner red, followed by black, starting a red-black sequence of 15 sets, then clearing from yellow to black for a brilliant maximum break of 147 points—the first of Top's snooker career. He earned a prize bonus totaling 564,000 baht, including 200,000 baht from Niche Cues, 147,000 baht each from Asia Cues and Pong 4x4, 50,000 baht from "Tong" Sitthichok Thamraksa, and an additional 20,000 baht for the highest break from the Billiards Sports Association of Thailand.
In the second frame, Phone fought back with a 62-point break to level the match at 1-1. However, over the next three frames, Top maintained superior play, closing out the match 4-1 with frame scores of 147-0, 37-61, 67-6, 63-25, and 69-29. He advanced to the semifinals to face Jack Saraburi.
In another match, "F1" Thepchaiya Unnu, ranked 18th worldwide and winner of the second stage, outplayed "Bank Chanyont Sakon Nakhon" Pornpiya Kaosamran, scoring a century break of 128 to win 4-2 in frames (61-50, 128-7, 4-66, 28-75, 75-73, 71-36). He progressed to the semifinals to meet "Tim Kan" Chatchapong Nasa, who narrowly defeated "Gig Phitsanulok" Santipap Imboonsu 4-3 in a tight match (63-45, 70-40, 0-86, 97-32, 7-85, 25-73, 63-45).
