The Honda Racing Thailand team surged to claim the front grid and is ready to unleash full throttle in pursuit of the podium at the ARRC Round 2 home race.

The Thai riders from Honda Racing Thailand pushed their Honda CBR Series superbikes to the limit, competing against Asia's top riders. During qualifying to determine the starting grid, they secured second-row grid positions in the top three classes before kicking off the final round home race of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 Round 2, with the first race scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

In the Asia Production 250cc (AP250) class, rising Thai star "Fer" Panjarut Jitvirulchat rode bike number 12 and followed the team's race plan, setting the best time toward the end of qualifying. He secured the 4th starting grid, beginning the race from the second row in this class.

In the Supersport 600cc class, the duo known as The Next Successor for Honda Racing Thailand also earned leading grid positions. "Mix" Thanat Laongpliu, riding bike number 31, claimed 4th on the grid and aims for a podium finish. His teammate, "Hypek" Krisada Thanachot on bike number 18, will start from 6th on the grid.

In the Asia Superbike 1000cc class, the top category of the event, Thailand's sole representative "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat, number 41, battled through all challenges and worked closely with the Thai mechanics team. He consistently improved his lap times, setting a best time of 1:35.253 minutes, starting from 6th on the grid.
