On 10 May 2026, the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 Round 2 took place at Chang International Circuit in Buriram. In the Asia Superbike 1000cc class, Thailand's sole rider, "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat, along with the Thai Mechanics team of Honda Racing Thailand, worked hard and were fully supported by Thai Honda.
In Race 2, "Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat started from grid 6. He immediately pushed hard from the start, balancing speed and risk to maintain his chance for a strong finish.
"Chip" Nakarin Athiratphuvapat skillfully controlled his bike and the race using his experience, steadily overtaking competitors to move into the top 3 before the final lap. Despite pressure from rivals late in the race, the top Thai rider held his position and crossed the finish line in third place, unlocking his podium finish in front of Thai speed fans at the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship 2026 Round 2.
