
The GLO Cup 2026 Eastern Region concluded successfully with Assumption Sriracha claiming the double championship and 11 players named GLO STARs.
On 10 May 2026, the 8-a-side youth football national finals, organized by the Government Lottery Office (GLO), wrapped up the Eastern regional qualifiers at Chachoengsao province. Four regional representative teams in each age category, under-13 and under-15, along with the Eastern region's GLO STAR players, were finalized.
The final day was lively and featured a ceremony presided over by Lieutenant Colonel Noon Sansankom, Director of the Government Lottery Office, who presented awards and congratulated the young athletes for their outstanding performances throughout the competition.
In the under-13 final, Assumption Sriracha defeated Pattaya United 3-0 to win the Eastern region title, while third place went to The Rabbit Junior, who beat Marie Vith Pattaya School 3-0. In the under-15 final, Assumption Sriracha triumphed over Taksin Rayong School 6-1, securing the double championship. Third place was claimed by Navy FC, who defeated Rayong Wittayakom Paknam A U15 4-2.
The four teams advancing to the semifinals in each age group earned the right to represent the Eastern region in the national championship.

This reflects the dedication of coaches, parents, and players. Several teams showed clear development and played with quality."

The GLO STAR project, a major highlight of the tournament, selected 11 youth players from the Eastern zone to advance to the national selection round, divided as follows:

The GLO STAR project will continue selecting talented youth players from all seven regions nationwide before the national finals. Each age group will be narrowed to 15 players for the GLO STAR Camp, with a final selection of three players per group earning a valuable opportunity to train for six months with Avispa Fukuoka, a leading J-League club in Japan.
The next qualifying round of the GLO Cup 2026, the fourth venue, will move to the Central and Western zones from 19 to 24 May 2026 in Kanchanaburi province. Matches will be held at the Kanchanaburi Central Stadium (Klib Bua) for the U13 category and the Khao Noi Subdistrict Administrative Organization Stadium for the U15 category, aiming to find representatives for the national championship and GLO STAR from these regions.
