Kiattisak Singhapong is ready to face the challenge in the first round of the FIM JuniorGP World Championship 2026 at Circuit de Barcelona.
The FIM JuniorGP World Championship first round will be held at Circuit de Barcelona, Spain, from 22-24 May, featuring "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong, Thai rider No. 85 from Honda Racing Thailand, aiming for victory.
The FIM JuniorGP World Championship serves as a preparatory competition for riders before stepping up to Moto3; the bikes used share the same specifications as those previously used in Moto3 races, and riders must learn the bike settings, which are crucial factors for winning.
Looking back at the 2025 season, "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong scored 8 points during his first full season as a rookie, finishing 23rd overall out of 40 riders.
Regarding his readiness, the young Thai rider has been continuously training in Spain and opened the season impressively by securing third place on the podium at the 2026 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, Jerez Round Race 1.
At the first round in Circuit de Barcelona, Spain, "Mai Q" Kiattisak Singhapong will face a significant test, as this circuit features long straights, high-speed and low-speed corners, continuous sections, and heavy braking zones that challenge riders' skills, as well as demanding high tire management abilities.
The 2026 FIM JuniorGP World Championship is scheduled for seven rounds across four countries: starting at Montmeló, Spain (22-24 May), Estoril, Portugal (12-14 June), Jerez de la Frontera, Spain (3-5 July), Magny-Cours, France (24-26 July), Caste, Spain (4-6 September), Alcañiz, Spain (25-27 September), and Misano Adriatico, Italy (16-18 October).
