
Kiatsak Singhapong showed impressive form by finishing in the top 6 at the opening round of the Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026 in Spain.
"Mai Kiu" Kiatsak Singhapong, a rising star from Honda Racing Thailand, delivered an outstanding performance at the first round of the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026 at Montmeló Round, Circuit de Barcelona, Spain, on Sunday, 24 May 2026, consistently scoring points.
Starting in 9th position out of 32 riders, "Mai Kiu" Kiatsak Singhapong on bike number 85 faced a challenge in the first race as he initially dropped to 14th place, but then increased his pace and crossed the finish line in an excellent 9th place.
However, during the intense first race, a rider was penalized for breaking the rules under yellow flags. After the race officials applied the time penalties, "Mai Kiu" Kiatsak Singhapong officially moved up to finish 6th, earning 10 points. In the second race, the Thai rider continued his strong performance, battling through tough competition to finish 12th, adding 4 more points for a total of 14 points, placing him 11th overall as he aims for a strong season.
The next round of the FIM Moto3 Junior World Championship 2026 will take place at Circuito do Estoril in Portugal from 12-14 June 2026.
