On 27 May 2026 GMT+7, the football competition for the under-13 age group, the "Chang Junior Cup 2026," culminated. This premier event is dedicated to youth development, aiming to find Thailand's top teams. It also awards the "Most Talented Player" and two "Sportsmanship Awards," with winners earning the opportunity to experience a world-class event in England.

The sixth and final qualifying venue of the "Chang Junior Cup 2026" for the Bangkok and metropolitan zone took place from 19 to 24 May 2026 GMT+7 at the ThaiBev Football Academy in Bangkok. A total of 48 teams participated. The final match was honored by Mr. Chatchai Chantasiriphan, representative of Chang Natural Mineral Water from Chang International Co., Ltd., along with distinguished guests who attended the event and presented awards.


The final saw Uthai Thani FC, a dark horse team, face Pathumkongka School, former Bangkok zone champions in 2024 and runners-up in 2023. The match ended 1-1, leading to a penalty shootout. Uthai Thani FC prevailed 5-3 on penalties, claiming the Bangkok and metropolitan zone championship, along with a trophy and scholarship. Pathumkongka School finished as runners-up. In the third-place match, Chao Sua Noi decisively defeated Nonthaburi Municipality Junior 6-0.


The top three teams from the Bangkok and metropolitan zone—Uthai Thani FC, Pathumkongka School, and Chao Sua Noi—earn the right to compete in the Thailand Championship round. They will join qualifiers including Assumption Sriracha School (Eastern zone champion), Municipal Plukpanya School under Royal Patronage – Kanchana Forest (Southern zone champion and runner-up), Ban Kao Wittaya School (Central zone champion), Soma Pa Development School (Northern zone champion), and Nongbua Pitchaya FC Academy – Best Academy (Northeastern zone champion and runner-up). These teams will compete alongside leading youth clubs such as Chonburi FC (2025 champion and three-time winner), Assumption Thonburi School (six-time champion), Buriram United (2019 runner-up), Police Tero FC (third place 2025), Army FC (fourth place 2025), and Navy FC to find the ultimate under-13 youth champion who will win the exclusive prize to experience a world-class event in England.
